A series of limited-edition wines “Graphite” from the “Vysoky Bereg” brand embodies the best experiments of winemakers using new techniques and the use of European grape varieties grown in Russia. The line was launched in 2019 with the release of two exceptional wines, Riesling Rhine and Merlot, aged in wooden barrels made from unique acacia and oak species.
Russian wine from PGI "Kuban" aged dry red "Vysokiy Bereg Merlot. Graphite" is made from grapes of the same name from the 2020 harvest. The wine acquired its unique style thanks to aging for at least 12 months in French and American oak barrels. According to tasting assessments, “Merlot” is at the peak of its development. The rich color of the wine in the glass, from ruby red to dark garnet, conveys its expressive character. The aroma is developed, fruity, with hints of cherry, sweet cherry and red apple under a noble creamy-woody veil. The soft, round, velvety taste will delight you with its long-lasting development. Dry red “High Coast Merlot. Graphite" will be an excellent gastronomic pairing for poultry, game, pasta with spicy cheese.
